I have always been enthralled with crystals. My collection grew and grew since I was a kid, and I found that I used almost all of my free time looking for new rocks. In 1999 I took the big plunge and created a business out of my hobby when I realized my passion for rocks was never going to subside.
We are very fortunate to own and know about several crystal localities that produce some spectacular and quite rare crystal forms. Our Purple Hope claim (Green Ridge) produces just about every form of quartz imaginable including some very large high quality Japan Law Twins as well as amethyst scepters with enhydros. Our other claim, Stobokor, produces some of the clearest scepters that I have ever seen. Both of these claims are in extremely remote locations and almost all of the mining work is done while roped up to the side of a cliff. It is most dangerous and difficult work, but we always take the greatest care when mining and transporting mineral specimens. Our philosophy has always been that no crystal specimen is too small or ugly to be well wrapped.
We mine the vast majority of our specimens by hand in the Pacific Northwest, Northern Rockies, and Alaska. We are always looking in to acquiring new mineral localities and collections to increase our supply and variety of the most rare forms of quartz and other mineral crystals.
